The Camo Dipping Process
Water transfer printing, camo dipping, gun dipping, hydrographic imaging. There are many names for what we do, but any way you look at it, you can always call it cool! We can apply a pattern to many of your different items, including but not limited to, guns, bows, hard hats, interior car parts, skulls, etc. Generally if it can go under water, we can dip it! After your gun or other item is prepped and painted, the process starts by laying a sheet of your specified pattern on a specialized tank of water, spraying an activator on the pattern which separates the ink from the film and allows it to adhere, and dipping your item into the tank. We then seal it so that it is durable, and ship it back to you for your enjoyment. Not only does this improve the look of the item, but increases the life by protecting it from the elements and effects of wear and tear. Obviously this is a simplified version of what we do and there are numerous steps that we have skipped but you get the drift. If you have additional questions about any of this or if your item is suitable for dipping, feel free to call or email us with your questions. We make old guns look new and new guns your favorite!
